A management platform for a gym: running daily operations in one place instead of spreading them across spreadsheets.
Context and problem
Running the gym was spread across spreadsheets, handwritten notes and the team's memory. That works up to a certain size, and then starts to cost.
The typical problem with that way of working: nobody knows for certain who is up to date, which classes are full and which information is current.
How we approached it
We modelled the gym's real operation before writing code: what gets administered daily and who needs to see what.
We prioritised adoption without long training, because a management platform nobody uses solves nothing.
What is running now
An owned platform to run the gym's daily operation from one place.
Information no longer depends on who wrote it down and is available to the whole team.
